Actual News...For Once

Later this year - if all goes well - Neil Gaiman will be directing his first feature film. It's an adaptation of his Death: The High Cost of Living mini-series...

Which leads me to scream about and jump up and down and thank my dad for finding this...

..now to pray that it is true....

hmph
not very excited here.Quite a number of films which were adapted from books, comics, etc, are usually horribly spoiled, with lots of weird stuff.I mean,c'mon, look at Phantom of the opera back then(everyone was worried Joel Schumacher would spoil it like he did Batman)To quote a local newspaper,he turned Batman and Robin into a "homoerotic camp film" or am I just being a purist?

please note I myself am not against homosexuals or anything...

see, but Gaiman's directing it! he wouldn't do anything to destroy his own series (I would hope!). if anything, Gaiman's a slight purist himself. anything donediffernt in the mini-series would be the stuff he couldn't fit into the comic (after all, it was of a predetermined lenght).

so, I would agree with you if anyone else was touching this comic (above all other comics), but as it's Gaiman doing it himself...less worry more excitment.
